Winter break reading list

Hope you’re all enjoying the holiday. If you’re bored and want to read a few of my favorite (if dated) essays, here they are:

  1. Kevin Drum correctly observing that “The fight over evolution isn’t actually all that important.”
  2. Dan Sarewitz on the “The lies we must live with.”
  3. Frank Laird analyzes the teaching of evolution in terms of institutional control
  4. A book rather than an essay. But readers of my old blog know that I can’t recommend Barbara Herrnstein’s Natural Reflections enough. If you’re going to read one book on science and religion, this should be it.

And that’s it!
