Weekend science, religion, and etc. reading list

This week is heavy on the ‘etc.’. But here it goes:

  1. Nine must-see Jamaican waterfalls. I’ve been to Reach Falls, and it’s great.
  2. Working from home isn’t for everyone.
  3. This is a couple years old, but I still found it interesting. Apparently gun homicides down almost 50% since 1993.
  4. Alan Jacobs has been blogging about academia. Here’s a helpful summary of his posts.

Have a good weekend everyone!

  1. Interesting links. I wonder how mass shootings are counted. I´ve read research that mass shootings have increased which is still possible even if gun homicides have gone down.
